"Dream," the New Single, is Here!
Composed by guitarist Anthony Fesmire, “Dream” takes the listener on a sonic journey from the opening heavy guitar chords supporting improvised organ flourishes to the energetic main theme doubled by the guitar and organ to the melodic guitar passages that follow. Featuring an experienced band of musicians, “Dream,” will inspire repeated listening to absorb the subtitles and nuance. “Dream” is the first single from the upcoming album release, Against the Current, by Anthony Fesmire.
Anthony Fesmire is a guitarist with extensive experience in contemporary music performance. The upcoming album, Against the Current, is his sixth, including four with the eclectic jazz-rock trio, Outside Pedestrian. As a composer, Fesmire’s work is inseparable from his work as a guitarist. His eclectic sound draws on the harmonic language of post-bop jazz, odd and mixed meter, the language of modern jazz improvisation, and most importantly, strong melodies and groove, all fused with rock, jazz, metal, blues, and other contemporary influences.
“Dream” features Scott Smith on piano and keyboards, David Lockeretz on bass, and Steve Tashjian on drums.
